2016 was Rough

Hey everybody,

It's been a while since i posted something on here, sorry about that. This year has been kicking my butt! Lots of unfortunate things have happened. Even though they are not too serious they still messed with my psychology a bit and prevented be from doing what I love. 

This semester was also my first one in the University, and let me tell ya it was not an easy one! I do really enjoy it as I get to only take classes related to my majors, however, the work load is insane once combined with work! Next semester should be easier as I have two studio classes, so hopefully no homework will be required by those.

As always I have big plans for my winter break. I am gonna try and finish that Ahri I have been working on for over a year now. I would also like to make some more tutorials, so if you have any ideas on what you would like to see hit me up! The one thing I miss the most however is making my comic book, so I may start working on that soon.

Anyway sorry for the delayed news, I will back soon.

Close to the End!

Hey y'all!

It is almost the end of this semester, which means that soon I should have even more (homework free) time! I have been able to keep active in my social media accounts, which I am very pleased for, and I have been uploading a Youtube video every Friday. I will start making more "how to draw" tutorials, and possibly start commentary on them (whaaat!?). It is something that I am not sure I'm ready for just yet, but I will try and get the equipment for it really soon.

2016 Update!

Hello y'all!

     It's been a while. I want to share why I have not been able to post as much this last year, and let you know a little more about my future plans. As some of you may know I have been quite occupied with college and work. It is my third year in college and hopefully last semester at the community college I attend. I have been accepted in a four-year college which I am really excited about and if everything goes according to plan I should be starting in August. 

     Furthermore, I have decided that it is time for some changes in my life so I will try to promote and sell my artwork as I used to. Work-wise I will be looking for something new soon, I would love to find something related to my major, which for those of you who do not know is studio art and art and culture, but if I can't find something like that at this point I would like to do something where I interact with people (possibly a waiting position).

     As for my art goals this year, I am not sure if i will be drawing any comics, because there still is a lack of free time. However, I would like to make some more pieces with my new spray- paint style ( I will upload a picture here so you can see what I mean), and possibly make some more paintings and illustrations.

     I would love to start working on requests again, but I will be charging a very small amount of money which will vary per request. Just so you have an idea of what the prices will be, an 8" by 11" pencil sketch will be $10 and from there on depending on the difficulty of the request, the media and the type of paper I use (which I will of course first discuss with the person that commissions me) the price will go up accordingly. 

     However, If you have any suggestions for drawing tutorials, or speed-paint videos for my Youtube channel, feel free to ask. It will probably take me a while before I can upload something there because I do not have an editing program anymore and half of my drawing programs do not work on windows 10. If you have any suggestions for editing programs please leave them in the comment box below. Also If you have any questions, comments, or concerns feel free to contact me!

Back to school

It's  been a little while that I've  been off school, and now that I'm  back i am not happy. Everything seems mundane. Its the same things over and over again, the same classes, the same life. I am trying to improve my life, yet its always the same. I feel like i need to start doing more stuff, to start living instead of being a puppet. I miss creating artwork, and my spontaneous  moments of going to the park with my dog Cleo at 3 am. I am done with this place, i have to move on with my life. However, i cant do anything for another year and a half. This is the fact that destroys my mood and life plans. Im stuck in the community college until im done with my requirements. Im living for others, and will keep living for others, until I'm  done with school.

Stressful vacation

Hey guys,
I am on my long awaited vacation, but it's  way different than i anticipated. Instead of relaxing i am actually stressing more. I had one of my wisdom teeth removed so far, and i am getting another pulled this week. Anothrr thing that is stressful is trying to figure a way to recover from all the expenses of my vacation, no matter how i look at it, ill have to get another job or i wont be able to pay my rent. I just found out that my dad's health isnt great and that is really worrysome; at the same time my moms health isnt good so im at a loss.
I still have doctors to go to and fix myself, and the same week im back i gotta start looking for apartments. I have not enjoyed my vacation yet, and i am not done with all the things i must do before i leave.
I really wish i could stay with my mom longer...

Almost time for vacation!

Hey guys!
College is out for the summer, and in 5 days I'm  leaving for vacation! Hopefully it will be very relaxing, and peaceful! That being said i will have time to do more videos and illustrations for my channel and deviantart. If you have anything  you'd  like to see, leave a comment bellow. I will try to work on my  comics, which is something that i haven't  done in almist 3 years now. It will be a nice change. I am getting a bit rusty so prsctice will definitely help. Well that's  it for now. I will try and post a lot of stuff when I'm gone. Keep in touch!

So long

Hello everyone, It's been forever!

This has probably been the most difficult year of my life, this is why.

I started out trying to balance college and work, but it didn't work out for me. I took 6 classes in college when a full time student has 4 classes, and topped it of with 40 hours of work per week. Obviously this schedule wasn't working; I had to drop a class and reduce my work hours to 32. Even with that it was still difficult balancing everything out. 

Several other things that happened this year made my finances from bad to terrible, so I lived on broccoli for a while 'cause it was the only thing i could afford. I was also sleep deprived because of stress, and pulling all- nighters in order to complete my homework. I started having some health issues because of the exhaustion, and lack of proper nutrition. As if all these weren't enough, I started having issues with my apartment. 

I barely make the rent every month, and my neighbors started harassing me. I have a trip to Greece coming up in a month, therefore I don't have the time to look for a new apartment (plus there is nothing available at the time). 

With all that said, I never have free time. On my free time I am always either studying or doing laundry. People say that I need to find time for myself, but what they don't understand is that unless I take care of my priorities I'll only be more stressed in the long-run. I have not drawn for fun in over a year now, and I don't really understand anymore why I am going through all this. Drawing is not fun anymore; it is in the way of my chores. 

I moved away from home in order to pursue my dream, but somewhere along the way I feel that I lost myself.

 

New tutorials, and my mini vacation!

Hey y'all!
I have been working on my new youtube tutorial, and this time i decided to do something different! Because of this alteration the video will need quite a bit more editing than normally! This time the tutorial is going to be a "how to draw a devastated chibi girl" and off course she is going to be adorable!
What I decided to do is make a tutorial about how to draw her proportions and features, but skipped the inking part (I will include some images from the inking, but as screenshots!), and then come back to the second part of the tutorial which is going to be the how to color part.
I have a few days off work and for my "mini vacation" I will try to draw, and upload as many things as I can!

Finally

Hey guys and gurls!
I am going thru a weird phase where the one moment I feel depressed and the next I am happy... The reason why I'm happy tho is because I found my comic! Truth is that after I moved into my new apartment I couldn't find the new hand-drawn version of Little Devil Panic, but luckily a couple of days ago I found it and started working on it again!
Work and school are insane. I dropped one of my classes at school because I couldn't keep up with it; what can i say... I'm only human, but right after I dropped it I realized that my work days have increased.... I won't have a day off for thirteen days straight, and last time I didn't have one for eleven days...
With that said and my limited free time I am trying to work on the fire character requested by darklyo.
