Hey there i haven't written in what seems a quite long time! (or at least to me) 

I am working on an illustration of Alice in Wonderland for a competition and i have to submit it due Sunday.

I decided i will be a member of a site for comics where I'll get paid according to how many viewers i bring; but in order to do that i need to upload 15 pages every month; so I'll wait a while before i start uploading to gather more material.

Furthermore, tomorrow i am having my SAT's... yeah.. At least after that I'll only have to worry about finals in December! Anyway after I'm done with the exams (actually even before that) I have to start working on the poster for the other competition... :/ My senior project... well i kinda postponed the preparations for it a bit, till I'm over with the stress!

Generally there's just a TON of things going on right now, but it's better than having nothing to do! :) 

Well, gotta work!

Preparing for competitions

I've got three competitions that i am preparing for, and all three have as a price scholarships!
I am working on a SUPER detailed illustration of Alice in Wonderland. I finished the sketch and tomorrow I'll begin coloring it. The only problem i have is that i am working on an A3 page and i can't scan it, so i guess the only thing i can do is take a photo of it... ( i hate when this happens... :/)

Since we have a break from school I'll have time to work on my comics and my new persona! :)
I also have my senior project to work on. 

(I just hope i can make it on time! ><)

The past week

The past week has been really creative. I worked a bit on my comics (didn't have enough time to complete the pages though), and tons of other things! ><

I decided which stories I'll illustrate for my senior project. It will be a tribute to the Grimm Brothers and Hans Christian Andersen. The stories that i chose have some similarities between them (personal opinion); so these are the stories chosen:

 Grimm Brothers:

• The six swans
• The poor boy in the grave
• The owl

Hans Christian Andersen:

• The wild swans
• The little match seller
• The phoenix bird

I didn't want to chose really popular stories, i think this is way more interesting!

I also have a new art project for school: to draw a river. I have an idea and i think it'll turn out good! 

Lately I've been pretty gloomy 'cause my birthday is tomorrow and I've never been alone on my birthday i was always surrounded by my family and friends. Thankfully a packet arrived from Greece today. My mother sent me my art supplies and my incense sticks. The moment i lit one of them i got the feeling that i was in my room in Greece with my friends! That was enough for me to stop being homesick, so now don't mind what will happen tomorrow! So what if nobody here knows that it's my birthday?! My friends and family do and i am sure that they'll think of me. Even if we can't be together at the moment, we will surely be reunited! :)

Always the same

Every single time that i feel "It's almost over, now i can take a break at last" something happens and was worse is that, THAT something is followed by a pile of work. -_-
I don't even know where to start from... I haven't been able to do anything for my comics for the past three weeks. It is starting to get to me... -_-
  

I have already bought an agenda in order to arrange my time, but apparently it's useless since i still don't have any time left.
  

Right now my first concern is to get into an art college. I have people telling me that it will be almost impossible for me to get into a four year college since i haven't been living in the U.S. for over a year (which recently became three years). I don't like negative thinking or answers; there is a way and I'll find it.
I will be taking place in two competitions with the hope that I'll achieve something.
 

Lately i have too many things to keep up with (probably more than i can follow). I'll manage somehow.  

Page 10 of Resolution is almost ready (it's been that way for three weeks). During the weekend I'll try to make Little Devil panic page 3.
I for some reason feel guilty that i haven't been able to upload my comics for so long. I'll try to make it up.
